Your Initial appointment

 

At your first appointment there will be an indepth intake form to fill out,  You will then meet with Sarah and go over your health history as well as your main health concern(s).

Traditional Chinese Medicine looks at the body as a whole, so we look at all the systems in the body before diagnosising and treating.

Part of diagnosis in Traditional Chinese Medine includes inspecting the tongue and also taking the pulse. Both of these are used to get a clearer idea of what is happening internally.

 

You'll then relax on the table with soft music and heat lamps if you desire while the needles do their thing. Often the first appointment is just acupuncture with one of the other modalities added in later on!
